Our Sponsoring Package

As a non-profit assosiation we often rely on the help of other organisations, in the corporate and public sector. For our conference we are looking for sponsoring partnerships to build mutually beneficial relations. A Sponsoring partnership is a great opportunity to introduce your company to our participants, a group of more than 150 motivated and dedicated students from all over the world.

Since every company is unique, we will work closely together with you to compose a sponsorship package specifically for your company. We offer many great ways for your company to attract the attention of our delegates: Be it the placement of your corporate logo on official documents and the website or an info desk at the conference, we will find the best solution for you.

If you are interested or need more information, please feel free to contact us at fundraising@sgmun.com.

What is Model United Nations?

Model United Nations conferences are educational simulations of the political and diplomatic work of the United Nations. University students from all over the world come together to discuss the current issues and topics of international politics. Each participant plays the role of a delegate and represents an assigned country for the length of the conference. Following an intense debate of specific topics in small focus groups, the results are documented in resolution papers. Model United Nations conferences started out in 1920 and have gained popularity ever since. Today MUN conferences are held on all continents and at almost every major University. Thus the first MUN conference in St. Gallen is long overdue.

What is SGMUN 2017 about?

Our conference will last four days (09.11.2017 until the 12.11.2017) and revolve around the theme of “Finding comfort in change”.  We live in an ever changing, highly volatile world. While this instability can be extremely frightening, it has the potential to spawn technological as well as political innovation. That’s why it is so important to inspire tomorrows bright minds and tackle the worlds current problems head on. To do so, we are going to welcome well over 150 participants from various disciplines, countries and cultures in St. Gallen.
